1932 | The company was started in 1932 by Walter he worked in the removals and storage industry until he retired in 1967 giving a total of 35 years in the industry.
Blatchford's International is removals and storage business that operates from the historic city of Exeter.
As a well established family company with a strong reputation for its connections within the removals and storage industry including international shipping and export packing. The company boasts a comprehensive bank of knowledge and experience that other companies would find hard to match and are now in the third generation of the family.

In 1948 Walter was joined by Derek Blatchford until his retirement in 1998, totalling 50 years of service. During his working life Derek worked tirelessly to promote and develop the industry as a whole from within the B.A.R - The British Association of Removers. Between 1980-1981 Derek was president of the BAR.
David Blatchford then joined the family business in 1978, continuing the family business in to it's third generation. David, to this day, strives to provide clients with advice and help and continues to develop the company.
